Applicable to Hong Kong and Macau residents who possess the following professional skills and meet other relevant conditions:
Achievement in applied engineering techniques in a particular field; or
Possess professional technical ability, and have obtained a practicing certificate from the Hong Kong or Macau government or have special achievements in academic, scientific, cultural, journalism, finance, insurance, securities, futures, transportation, postal services, telecommunications, meteorology or tourism.

Application for residency
Stage 1
You can apply if you meet all the basic application conditions, and if approved, you can come to Taiwan to stay
The Hong Kong and Macao spouse and minor children of the main applicant can also apply for residency in Taiwan if they meet the relevant requirements
Stage 2
Apply for settlement

Special achievements in technology have been approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
2 Technology related
Accomplished achievements in emerging technologies, key technologies, key policy promotion projects, etc., and what you have learned is indeed urgently needed in Taiwan or difficult to cultivate in the short term, and meets one of the following conditions:
After obtaining a doctoral degree from a domestic and foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education, engage in applied engineering technology work in special fields for more than three years.
After graduating from a domestic or foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education, engaged in applied engineering technology work in special fields for more than five years.
Others have engaged in applied engineering technology work in special fields for more than ten years.

The number of days the applicant stays in Taiwan must meet one of two conditions:
A. Continuous residence for one year:
Stay in Taiwan for one year continuously, and the cumulative number of days out of the country during the period does not exceed 30 days.
B. Residency for 2 consecutive years:
They have lived in Taiwan for 2 consecutive years, and have accumulated more than 270 days in Taiwan each year.
